William G. Martin, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Chief Surgeon

Dr. Martin, a specialist in cataract and laser vision correction, has been on the forefront of major advances in the area of vision correction over the past 25 years. He is the Chief surgeon for Ohio LASIK Centers. Prior to this position, he was Medical Director and Chief surgeon at Optivue and the Director of the Cleveland Eye Clinic for four years. He performed his internship at Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and his residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Martin attended Medical School at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.

Dr. Martin served as a staff member and Assistant Professor at the University of Toledo Medical Center for over 25 years. Dr. Martin is one of few eye surgeons in Ohio who are board certified in both cataract and laser vision correction by the American Board of Eye Surgery and is a patent holder in intraocular lens technology.
